How HP Coupons & Weekly Specials work

Every week, usually on a Sunday or Monday, HP Computers update BOTH their laptop and desktop Weekly Specials and ALSO their HP Coupon codes. Some HP Coupon codes might get carried over from the prior week if the quantity limit wasn't redeemed or, if HP decide to extend their coupon promotion. However HP's weekly specials on laptop and desktop computers will change not only most of the "specialled items" but also, more importantly, the $ amount of both the instant rebate and the customizable upgrade discounts.

For example, HP's weekly specials on their dv6t and dv7t Quad-core laptops are usually available. It is the ($) Instant Rebate amount and the ($) Discount amount on the Customizable Extras (Upgrades) that will differ. On the other hand, this week might see instant savings and free upgrades on the HP dv6 Special Edition laptop whereas next week it will not be included in HP's weekly special offers at all.

HP's Weekly Specials will usually take the form of an instant $ rebate in addition to significant savings on "customizable" upgrades such as; memory, hard drive, Blu-Ray DVD's and processors. This means that "... the more you spend, the more you will save..."

As with other coupon offers from other computer suppliers you can not usually take BOTH the weekly savings offer AND the coupon discount. You must choose one or the other - most of the time! The exception to this rule is that if you see the word "Stackable"! The word "Stackable" means that the Stackable Coupon can be applied to the Weekly Savings offer. Another way of saying that an HP coupon code is stackable is to look for the words "....Combinable with instant rebates...." This means the same thing!

For example; "...Save an extra $50 on an HP Pavilion desktop or laptop PC $1000+ with STACKABLE HP Coupon code: NBDT50C115..." means that as long as you spend more than $999.99 on an HP Laptop or Desktop Computer then you can apply HP's STACKABLE $50 Coupon code to a weekly desktop or laptop special - and receive significant savings.

So, if you see (in the right hand column opposite) both a $375 coupon for the HP Pavilion dv6t Quad-core in addition to a $520 weekly special savings discount on the dv6t Quad-core then you will have to see which deal works better for your computer needs, your budget and/or your finances. The $520 discount limit will usually only be attainable if you "customize" your dv6t laptop with ALL the discounted upgrades. The fewer discounted upgrade items you purchase then the less of a "special" you will receive.

Definitely Stackable Coupons are a good thing. Just be sure that, in order to get the best price on your HP desktop or laptop computer, you calculate whether the "Weekly Special with Instant Rebates and Discounted Upgrades" is going to save you more or less than applying the regular HP Coupon Code to the item's original FULL PRICE (i.e. without the weekly instant rebate and upgrade discount specials).
